I've placed three orders with Shropshire Design in the past few months, and every single time, there’s been a major holdup. It feels like they’re always out of stock but don’t mention it on their site to keep the orders coming in. Each time, we got the same generic email saying there’d be an 8-10 week wait. We ended up canceling 2 out of those 3 orders because of the delays, one of which took 5 months when the website promised delivery in 7-14 days. Let’s just say I won’t be shopping here again. Total waste of time.

I had a rough time with a competitor that sold Liang & Eimil products, and trying to reach them was a nightmare with their pointless chatbot.

After some searching, I stumbled upon SD through the Liang website, and let me tell you, my experience was a total 180. I called them up before placing my order and spoke to a super helpful guy who confirmed that they had stock and even set up a delivery date for me ahead of time. I went ahead and ordered online, and the delivery happened just as they said it would, with their own driver and van. Des, the delivery guy, showed up on a Saturday without any extra fees and was kind enough to help move my chest into the room I wanted. He was such a nice guy and even complimented the work I’m doing at home.

Honestly, my experience was amazing - the Liang piece is stunning, and I was thrilled to snag an extra discount from SD before I placed my order.

Since the pandemic, getting furniture has been a hassle with all the delays, so I steer clear of companies that are tough to reach by phone. SD stands out because they make their customer service number easy to find and don’t shove you into a robotic conversation.
